We feature works from several artists of Ukrainian heritage including Jacques Hnizdovsky, iconographer H.C. Schlieper, and Yarko Kozak.

All Hnizdovsky prints shown on this site are original limited edition Jacques Hnizdovsky woodcuts, linocuts and etchings, hand printed, signed and numbered by the artist. All artwork we sell are originals (not reproductions) and have been in our continuous possession since they were provided by the Hnizdovsky Estate, therefore authenticity and direct provenance are guaranteed. (We never sell pre-owned prints). Many prints shown in our online gallery are extremely rare, and many are the last of their edition. All artworks are originals.

 Framing Guidelines for Hnizdovsky Prints

Once you receive your artwork, we recommend consulting the Library of Congress website for archival matting and framing recommendations. The paper Jacques Hnizdovsky printed on, washi or xuan has extreme longevity, but proper handling and framing is necessary. We recommend only matting with 100% pure rag museum board. All materials used in matting and framing must also be archival and acid-free.
